AI Agents for
Modern Audit Teams

Helping audit teams spend less time on repetitive work and more time managing risk.

We’re building the AI workforce for audit.

Every year, millions of hours are spent collecting evidence, reviewing documentation, performing testing, writing workpapers, and repeating the same procedures across audits. While every other business function has been transformed by AI, audit teams still rely on largely manual processes.

Our mission is to build AI agents that perform the repetitive work behind every audit, enabling auditors to focus on the judgment, skepticism, and strategic thinking that only humans can provide.

our mission

We believe every audit function will eventually have an AI workforce operating alongside its human team.

Kevin Jhangiani — Strategic Advisor, Technology

Cofounder and Founding CTO of Optro

Kevin Jhangiani is a co-founder and founding executive of Optro, where he served as CTO and helped build one of the world’s leading governance, risk, and compliance (GRC) platforms from the ground up.

Over more than a decade, he led the company’s technology, architecture, and engineering strategy, scaling the platform to serve thousands of organizations, including many of the world’s largest enterprises.

James Im — Strategic Advisor, GTM and Product

Founding GTM of Optro

James Im is an advisor at Complify AI and one of the founding members of AuditBoard (now Optro), where he spent over a decade helping build one of the world’s leading GRC platforms from its earliest days.

During his tenure, James held leadership roles across Client Advisory Services and Product, partnering with hundreds of enterprise customers to modernize SOX, internal audit, and risk management programs.

Complify was founded by auditors who experienced these challenges firsthand.

Before starting the company, our founders spent years leading SOX and internal audit engagements for Fortune 500 organizations. We saw talented professionals spending the majority of their time on administrative work instead of analyzing risk and improving businesses.

Recent advances in AI finally make it possible to automate much of the execution while keeping humans responsible for review, oversight, and professional judgment.

That’s why we built Complify.

Our Values

AI should augment auditors—not replace them.

Great audits require professional skepticism, business context, and judgment. AI should automate execution so people can focus on making better decisions.

1

Every conclusion should be explainable.

Audit requires trust. Every workpaper, citation, calculation, and conclusion generated by Complify is fully traceable back to the underlying evidence.

2

Enterprise trust comes first.

Security, privacy, and governance are foundational—not features. We build enterprise-grade AI that organizations can confidently use with their most sensitive financial and operational data.

3

Built by practitioners.

We’re not building generic AI software. Every workflow is designed alongside auditors, CAEs, controllers, and compliance leaders who understand how audit work actually gets done.

4

The future of audit is AI-native.

Tomorrow’s audit teams won’t simply use AI—they’ll work alongside AI agents that continuously execute testing, analyze evidence, prepare documentation, and improve over time.
